‘Pudge’ Kitchen with Matching Utility
Click for further information »
This kitchen, with our Pudge style kitchen doors & oak handles, leads directly into a living area with an oak-topped island, and also a matching utility room with Butler sink & appliances.
Deep ‘pan’ drawers are hidden behind some of the ‘doors’, whilst expansive corner cupboards benefit from ‘magic’ basket mechanisms that deliver the contents to the user without them having to adopt the traditional ‘hands and knees’ approach.
The kitchen benefits from laminate worktops finished with Oak edging to match door handles and both island and utility worktops. The depth of kitchen worktop and associated cupboards is stepped back towards the entrance door maintaining a spacious feel, whilst the larder makes best use of space with it’s integral oak worktop, pan drawers and spice-rack doors.
The spacious feel has been maintained in the utility room with narrow depth cupboards and oak worktop opposite the Butler sink, which benefits from slatted shelving above, with wicker baskets for storage.
What the client said:
“After downsizing my wish was to recreate my “old cooking space”. Guy managed to interpret my scribbles and created a welcome and comfortable environment with all the mod cons of an up-to-date kitchen. Thank you, to all at Dowers, for your excellent craftsmanship, patience, kindness and efficient attention to detail. I love my “new-old cooking space”. Dix points!!”
