Mixed Painted & Pine

This part painted and part old-pine kitchen fits beautifully into its surroundings within a barn conversion.
A Butler sink is set in a functional antiqued granite worktop which sits alongside the visually softer oak worktop in the rest of the kitchen space. The corner cupboards offer maximum access to the space within through angled bi-fold doors, whilst the under-cooker pan drawers are disguised as door-fronts for visual continuity.
A step in the depth of the cupboards further highlights the difference in finishes and adds interest, whilst the under-worktop bookshelf, and dresser, on the livingroom side of the kitchen softens the approach.
What the client said:
“Guy Cheeseman and his team at Dowers made a superb job of our farmhouse style kitchen, which we have been extremely pleased with.
From planning, which Guy was mainly responsible for, through to completion was very straightforward and, despite working in a converted barn where there are no such things as exact right angles etc. those obstacles were overcome with the minimum of fuss.
I would not hesitate to recommend Dowers to anyone.”
